Dermal Fillers Training Course - Foundation Level
This LAS Aesthetic Mentorship course is a one-day, foundation training programme in Dermal Fillers. It is an intensive training schedule for students ensuring they demonstrate a sound level of anatomy, consultation and examination process, understanding anaesthesia, facial mapping, injection techniques and how to manage complications. The course here at LAS enables students to explore the vast range of different dermal fillers and their placement. We advocate and underpin best safe practice in this field, to make you, as the prospective practitioner competent and confident in the delivery of dermal fillers.
Description: The LAS focus to your training is a practical hands-on session, working on live models throughout the course of the day.
You will be required to complete online study prior to your training day in which there will be an assessment on this course content at the end of your training day.
All that said, it is an enjoyable learning experience and you will be in great hands with our Nurse Director who will guide you throughout your training day. Your mentorship does not only end here, it is a continuous mentorship and we pride ourselves on looking after our students with follow ups via web or in person when you sign up here with us at LAS.

Botox Foundation Training Course
Choosing the right Botox course can be a daunting experience, here at LAS we have designed qualifications to follow a strict HEE (Health Education England) and JCCP (The Joint Council of Cosmetic Practice) regulations led by our Professional Aesthetics Director.
Description: The one day intensive Botox training course at LAS introduces you to different brands of Botox used in the industry, allowing you to make an informed choice of product that can be used, by you the practitioner, in your clinical setting. We deliver a mentorship training course, one to one or small group tutorials. Your course here at LAS covers all aspects of facial anatomy, patient assessment, contraindications, products dilutions, injection technique, aftercare and how to obtain prescriptions for the botulinum. You gain real-life experience with live-models and learn techniques such as ‘Glabella Lines’’, ‘Forehead Lines’ and ‘Crows Feet’. Above all you become competent in the understanding of facial muscularity of the patient, product knowledge and achieving the patient’s desired end result.

B12 Vitamin Training Course
Our Vitamin B12 training course at LAS is designed to teach you the safe and effective administration of intramuscular Vitamin B12. The content is highly informative and structured to provide essential knowledge in B12 Health.
Vitamin B12 injections are becoming more in demand. People have become aware of its many benefits to compliment lifestyle changes and boost nutrition poor lifestyles. There is also a greater understanding if lacking in this vitamin, can lead to various associated illnesses.
Vitamin B12 Injections are the best way to rapidly boost your b12 levels, having an instant impact on your health and wellbeing.

Description: Your body uses vitamin B12 to make red blood cells, nerves, DNA and protein. B12 also helps metabolise fat and carbohydrates. Our body is unable to generate B12, however the vitamin is readily available from sources such as dairy, meat and fish.
If you develop a vitamin B12 deficiency, intramuscular injections may be necessary.
Vitamin B12 solution for injection is man-made, injections are usually given as hydroxocobalamin or cyanocobalamin. These are very effective at raising blood levels of B12 and in preventing or reversing a deficiency. These are prescription only medications (POM’s).

Vitamin C, Vitamin D and Vitamin B7 (Biotin) IM (intramuscular Injection) Course
LAS are happy to offer this additional IM course in Vitamin C, Vitamin D and Vitamin B7 (Biotin).
This is a great adjuvant course that compliments the B12 (IM) course and vice versa.
LAS wants the prospective practitioner/student to understand there is so much more to these IM vitamins than meets the eye … literature suggests, and rightly so; vitamin c injection is “a great antioxidant that makes you feel and look fantastic”, and vitamin d is “the sunshine vitamin” and b7 biotin is for “hair skin and nail growth.” However, as a practitioner it is important to understand the why?

Our Platelet Rich Plasma training course at LAS (also known as PRP or the Vampire Facelift) will teach you about the revolutionary approach in tissue regeneration for skin rejuvenation and hair loss.

Phlebotomy Course
LAS would like to invite prospective students to undertake our phlebotomy course held at our centre of excellence. It is an outstanding course that covers all aspects blood taking. The course covers the practice of drawing blood from prosthetic limbs to performing the procedure on live patients. The course will underpin knowledge and practice to allow the student the competency in a safe blood draw.

Complications Management Dermal Filler Course
Most complications associated with hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are mild, transient and reversible, however in this every growing field of aesthetics, complications can exacerbate. They can range from something very simple such as bruising and swelling to that of something of a medical emergency where confidence and execution of treatment protocol is essential for resolution. It can be unsettling for you as the practitioner, losing confidence in your craft. It can be unsettling for patients if there is a lack of knowledge in how you resolve a complication, in which, this could lead you (as the practitioner) facing a legal battle of negligence.
LAS believe that this is an ESSENTIAL COURSE for all practitioners or aspiring aestheticians as there is a constant requirement for reassessment and safeguarding in this expanding field. It is paramount that the practitioner understands all aspects of dermal filler complications and they are up to date with current evidence based best practice.
